Senior Auditor – Internal Audit

About the role

Join the growing Internal Audit team in Melbourne as a Senior Auditor. You will own audit engagements from start to finish, drive quality, and lead teams with sharp technical judgement and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver internal audit engagements end‑to‑end, from risk identification to reporting and actionable recommendations.
• Partner directly with clients to understand their business, shape strategies, and build lasting relationships.
• Stay ahead of evolving regulatory and technical requirements to ensure full compliance across all work.
• Contribute to team growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding professional networks.

Required profile

• Experience in internal audit or risk consulting within Australian public practice.
• Experience in government, public‑sector agencies or not‑for‑profit organisations is highly regarded.
• Completed or ongoing postgraduate qualifications and memberships (IIA, CPA, CA ANZ, RMIA) are valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and networking abilities.
• Investigative mindset with the ability to analyse information logically and draw sound conclusions.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
