Senior Associate – Traffic & Transport Engineering

About the role

The position is for a Senior Associate in a specialist traffic and transport engineering consultancy expanding its South Australian operation. You will work closely with directors and senior leaders to lead complex projects, develop client relationships and help shape the local business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex traffic and transport projects from inception to delivery, providing senior technical direction.
• Manage project scope, commercial performance and risk while building key client and stakeholder relationships.
• Identify opportunities for repeat and new work and contribute to business planning for the Adelaide operation.
• Mentor and develop engineers as the local team grows.

Required profile

• 10+ years’ experience in traffic and transport engineering.
• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Professional Engineering Registration, or ability to achieve registration.
• Strong client relationship management and business development capability.

Required skills

• Technical expertise in traffic and transport engineering disciplines.
• Project delivery and commercial outcome management.
• Leadership and mentoring of engineering teams.
