About the role
This senior associate position supports a global competition/antitrust practice in Sydney, focusing on complex regulatory, merger control and enforcement matters with a strong cross‑border element.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and settle sections of merger submissions and clearance filings for the ACCC and other jurisdictions.
- Prepare engagement packs, correspondence and first‑cut advice for domestic and international clients.
- Manage discrete workstreams in investigations, including evidence mapping, chronology building and response drafting.
Required profile
- 4‑6 years post‑qualification experience in competition and consumer law.
- Ability to work calmly across multiple matters and collaborate in a close‑knit, partner‑led team.
Required skills
- Strong technical foundation in competition and consumer law, including merger analysis and coordinated clearance filings.
- Experience with investigations and enforcement work such as cartel conduct, misuse of market power and misleading conduct.
