About the role

A highly regarded commercial law firm in Melbourne CBD is looking for an experienced commercial property lawyer to join as Senior Associate. The role offers a broad mix of complex commercial property matters, direct access to experienced Partners and the chance to manage matters autonomously. It suits someone who enjoys building strong client relationships and taking ownership of transactions from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Property acquisitions and disposals
• Commercial leasing
• Property development matters
• Due diligence and transactional work
• Subdivisions and related property matters
• General commercial property advice

Required profile

• Experienced commercial property lawyer, ideally with 5+ years of practice in a well-regarded property or real estate practice
• Solid experience across commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing and development
• Ability to manage matters and competing deadlines autonomously
• Interest in mentoring and supporting junior team members

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
