Senior Associate – Audit (Working Holiday Visa)

About the role

EY is seeking experienced audit professionals on a Working Holiday Visa to join its Australian Audit practice as Senior Associates. The role offers hands‑on experience across diverse industries while you enjoy Australia’s lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate audits, assessing audit risk and ensuring compliance with EY policies.
• Execute audit procedures with a solid understanding of the client’s operating environment.
• Collaborate with the data transformation team to develop innovative, custom audit solutions.
• Engage with clients to deliver insights and build long‑term value.

Required profile

• Valid Working Holiday Visa for Australia with at least six months remaining (potential sponsorship for longer‑term visa).
• Degree and/or progress toward a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum three years of experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
• Proven experience leading audit planning, execution and reporting.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting framework.
• Ability to build client relationships and communicate complex findings.
• Excellent negotiation and collaborative teamwork skills.
