Senior Asset Management Officer

About the role

The City of Kalamunda is seeking a Senior Asset Management Officer to lead the planning, performance and continuous improvement of its asset management practices. Reporting to the Manager Asset Planning, the role provides specialist advice, drives asset management strategy, oversees critical infrastructure data and leads a small team of Asset Officers. It is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, 75 hours per fortnight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the City's asset management planning, performance and reporting.
• Develop and maintain Asset Management Policies, Strategies and Plans.
• Monitor asset performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee asset condition data collection and management programs.
• Deliver asset modelling to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate infrastructure valuations and asset capitalisation processes.
• Provide expert asset management advice across the organisation.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Asset Management Officers.
• Prepare key asset reports, analysis and legislative submissions.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Diploma in Asset Management or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Current WA 'C' Class driver's licence and a satisfactory National Police Certificate.
• Right to work in Australia; applicants requesting work sponsorship will not be considered.

• Level 7 salary of $102,391.49 to $108,637.34 per year, depending on skills and experience, plus 12% superannuation.
