Senior Analyst, Risk Advisory – Banking and Financial Services

About the role

The Banking Risk Advisory team supports the Banking and Financial Services ecosystem by providing operational risk advice, driving risk initiatives and strengthening Risk and Control Management. As a Senior Analyst (listed as Associate Manager in the text), you will partner with stakeholders to deliver operational risk advice and act as risk lead on projects such as Data Under Governance and CPS230.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to provide operational risk advice and drive initiatives such as Risk Control Self-Assessments
• Act as risk lead on projects (e.g. Data Under Governance, CPS230) and the risk approval process
• Support general Risk and Control Management, including new control creation and documentation
• Assess risk ratings, advise on risk acceptances and review and monitor risk performance
• Work closely with stakeholders across teams and product lines in Banking and Financial Services

Required profile

• Ideally 4+ years' experience in Financial Services, Banking or Professional Services
• Demonstrable experience building and influencing stakeholder relationships

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of core risk management practices and frameworks and a strong risk mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Detailed-oriented approach and strategic problem-solving
