Senior Analyst – Private Tax & Advisory (Sydney)

About the role

Deloitte’s Private Tax & Advisory team is seeking a Senior Analyst to support high‑net‑worth families, family offices, and privately owned businesses. You will work closely with managers, directors, and partners, delivering tax and accounting services while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review client financial statements and reports.
• Prepare and review income tax returns for private companies, trusts, individuals, and partnerships.
• Handle ATO correspondence, including Top 500 & Next 5000 reviews and general tax queries.
• Identify and advise on complex tax and accounting solutions for high‑net‑worth families.
• Act as liaison between directors, managers, and the broader team on advisory engagements.
• Build direct client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Delegate, review, and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Provide technical support and training to junior staff.

Required profile

• Completed or near‑completed CA qualification.
• Prior experience at a Big 4 or mid‑tier professional/accounting services firm.
• Strong foundation in taxation and accounting principles.
• Collaborative work ethic with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for serving private clients and family offices.
