Senior Advisor, People & Culture – APAC

About the role

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division, which delivers mining, autonomy and high-precision positioning solutions, is seeking a Senior Advisor to join its APAC People & Culture team, based in Hendra, Brisbane. The role supports the APAC region in end-to-end HR operations, covering day-to-day management alongside business partnering requirements, across technical, corporate and blue-collar workforces and multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory and leadership guidance on complex employee and industrial relations matters
• Deliver day-to-day operational HR work across the employee life cycle
• Support payroll back-up and governance
• Carry out HR generalist administration and execution duties
• Support workforce planning and organisational reviews
• Partner with frontline and corporate leadership on HR matters
• Coach compliance and governance across company policies and business practices

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in HR or a long-standing career in HR at advisory or business partnering level, with heavy industry and a mix of blue-collar and white-collar workforce
• Broad knowledge of Australian employment law, with strong exposure to ER and IR delivery
• Ability to influence and coach diverse leadership groups and build relationships
• Strong organisation skills and ability to work independently with initiative
• Prior experience in change management culture and operational maturity is desired but not essential

• Commercial aptitude and people skills

The position is hybrid, with occasional interstate or mine-site travel and flexibility to support APAC time zones.
