Senior Accountant – Tax

About the role

Altitude is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant specialising in tax to join a global professional services firm in Perth. You will work across a diverse client portfolio, providing trusted tax advice and contributing to meaningful outcomes for businesses navigating an evolving tax landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of tax and business advisory services for private businesses and family groups.
• Assist in preparing tax returns, financial statements, tax provisions and other compliance obligations.
• Conduct technical research and prepare advice on Australian tax matters.
• Collaborate closely with managers and senior team members to deliver high‑quality client outcomes.
• Coordinate engagement activities, monitor deadlines and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tax advisory, business services, business advisory or professional services.
• Strong understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and contribute positively to a team environment.
• Completed or near‑completed CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
