About the role

A well-established public practice firm with over 20 years of experience is looking for a Senior Accountant (Tax and Business Services) to join its team of experienced consultants delivering accounting, taxation and business advisory services. The position is based onsite in Sydney CBD or the Central Coast and is permanent.

Required profile

  • 5+ years of Australian public practice experience
  • CA/CPA qualification or currently pursuing it
  • Full Australian work rights; no visa sponsorship available
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, monitor WIP and budgets, mentor junior accountants and contribute to process improvements

Required skills

  • Financial statements, income tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT and payroll tax across multiple entity structures
  • GST, CGT, Division 7A, trusts, business services and taxation, and business advisory
  • Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and cloud accounting platforms
  • Client relationship management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
