Senior Accountant – Revenue & Supply Chain

About the role

The Senior Accountant joins Nike Pacific’s Finance Controlling team, acting as a key link between revenue, inventory and supply‑chain accounting. Reporting to the Marketplace & Inventory Supply Chain Accounting Manager, you will partner with Sales, Marketplace Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close activities for revenue accounting entries, including discounts, rebates, claims and returns across all channels.
• Analyse monthly financial results, investigate variances, prepare reconciliations and support accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and own reporting requirements such as quarter‑end schedules, monthly decks and SOX controls.
• Ensure data integrity between point‑of‑sale systems and financial reporting platforms.
• Partner with commercial teams to review rebates and discount programmes and align them with contractual terms.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of accounting experience in a commercial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls and reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to partner across functions and translate financial data into actionable insights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook for analysis and reporting.
• Experience using SAP and other ERP systems; familiarity with Blackline or POS tools is an advantage.
