Senior Accountant – Business Services & Tax

About the role

Prosperity is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Business Services & Tax team in Brisbane CBD. The role offers the chance to develop leadership skills while working collaboratively to deliver high‑quality outcomes for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain proactive client relationships across a broad range of industries.
• Ensure your team delivers work to a high standard and meets client expectations.
• Provide business advisory services including restructuring, tax planning and cash‑flow management.
• Collaborate with specialists to offer a full suite of services.
• Identify business development opportunities and referral networks.
• Mentor and develop junior and intermediate accountants.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years’ experience in a chartered environment at a mid‑tier or large boutique firm.
• CA/CPA qualified or willing to obtain qualification.
• Experience working with a variety of clients across multiple industries.
• Proven experience in mentoring or coaching junior staff.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Division 7A, FBT and CGT (preferred).
• Strong client interaction and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
