Senior Account Manager – Retail Channel Partnerships

About the role

The Amazon Leo ANZ team is looking for a Senior Account Manager to own and grow retail channel partnerships across Australia and New Zealand. You will blend strategic account management with hands‑on execution, driving commercial outcomes for major retail and distribution partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own key account relationships across the ANZ region, from buying teams to executive management.
• Lead contract negotiations and implement trading terms with retail partners.
• Develop and execute annual joint business plans covering sales, marketing, inventory, promotions and deployment.
• Manage the portfolio with ownership of sales results, forecasts and revenue targets.
• Build deep relationships with channel partners’ leadership to develop long‑term strategies and execute short‑term activations.
• Lead internal and external business reviews on performance, strategic initiatives and new opportunities.

Required profile

• 7+ years in account management, channel sales or business development within consumer electronics, telecommunications or technology.
• Proven experience negotiating commercial contracts with major retail partners.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and growing account P&Ls.
• Strong analytical capability with sell‑through data, forecasting and inventory analysis.
• Excellent C‑suite communication skills, both written and oral.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Experience using Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis.
