Segment Manager – National Hardware

About the role

CSR is seeking an experienced Segment Manager to lead its national hardware channel strategy, drive growth, and manage key strategic partnerships across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies for national hardware customers.
• Lead negotiation, implementation and management of national account commercial agreements.
• Drive pricing strategy execution and oversee rebate governance.
• Manage promotional programmes, trade shows, expos and customer conferences.
• Negotiate retail space and deliver against retailer metrics such as GMROI.
• Oversee merchandising programmes and store execution with internal and external partners.
• Build senior relationships with buyers, category managers and executive stakeholders.
• Coach and develop the National Accounts team to achieve commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• 10+ years in senior segment, channel or sales leadership roles.
• Strong experience managing major national customers in FMCG, building products, trade or hardware.
• Proven success developing and executing growth strategies delivering sustainable revenue.
• Exceptional commercial acumen with pricing, contract management and negotiation expertise.
• Ability to influence and engage C‑suite and senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and driving alignment across complex organisations.
• Strong analytical, planning and relationship management capabilities.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related discipline preferred.
