About the role

The Security Solution Area Lead drives sustainable, profitable growth of the Security Solution Area across enterprise and mid‑market channels in Australia. This senior position serves as the primary Avanade interface to Microsoft and creates client value through a unified security strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end growth of the Security Solution Area, aligning with Microsoft priorities and field structure.
• Integrate practice and go‑to‑market functions for enterprise and mid‑market clients under a single strategy.
• Lead solutioning and delivery accountability, leveraging practice‑anchored architects.
• Define strategic capability direction, investment cases, GTM alignment and workforce planning.
• Ensure delivery model is competitive, repeatable and commercially viable.
• Build the area’s reputation as a talent magnet and maintain senior client relationships.

Required profile

• Deep technical expertise in contemporary security practices and industry trends.
• Proven track record of originating and delivering complex security engagements and transformation programs.
• Experience building, leading and mentoring high‑performing teams.
• Strong ability to collaborate across Avanade, Microsoft and Accenture ecosystems.
• Excellent senior client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial mindset with experience shaping and delivering growth opportunities.
