Salesforce Developer

About the role

Journey Beyond, an Australian experiential tourism group operating 20 brands across Australia and New Zealand, is hiring a Salesforce Developer for its Adelaide office. The role designs, develops and supports the company's Salesforce platforms, which are tailored to its business needs, and helps optimise them to improve business processes and user experience. It is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Salesforce initiatives from requirements gathering and option analysis through to implementation and closure.
• Design, develop, test and deploy Salesforce solutions using declarative tools, Lightning Web Components and Apex.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems using APIs.
• Identify, manage and communicate project issues, risks, platform changes and release impacts to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation, complete thorough testing and provide proactive reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver reliable outcomes.

Required profile

• An experienced developer with strong expertise in CRM platforms, application integration and systems development.
• Proven experience in CRM configuration, customisation, integration and application support, able to design and deliver scalable solutions.
• A solid understanding of Salesforce platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, SSQ and related products is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, results-driven and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
