Sales Operations Specialist

About the role

You will support profitable growth across Hitachi Energy's Services business by providing commercial expertise in contract negotiations and developing lifecycle service offerings. The role focuses on creating value propositions and marketing collateral that enhance customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess customer contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives, risk appetite, and profitability targets.
• Analyze commercial terms, identify risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation and negotiation strategies.
• Lead or support customer negotiations to achieve balanced outcomes while protecting company interests.
• Partner with Legal, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Business Unit stakeholders to align commercial positions and proposal strategies.
• Develop and maintain commercial frameworks, templates, negotiation guidelines, and contract compliance processes.
• Collaborate with global teams to package and commercialize lifecycle service offerings and aftermarket solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, commercial management, contract management, strategic sourcing, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of contract terms, commercial risk assessment, and negotiation principles.
• Proven ability to negotiate commercial agreements and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with commercial acumen.
