Sales Manager, Large Enterprise GBS

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead a team of quota‑bearing associates to drive revenue for Gartner, managing 4‑5 direct reports and focusing on large enterprise opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed financial targets and develop strategies aligned with Gartner’s overall sales plan.
• Attract, retain, and develop top sales talent using Gartner’s recruitment methodology.
• Drive high activity through team prospecting sessions and ensure C‑level relationship building.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to direct reports and support their professional growth.

Required profile

• 7‑15 years of consultative sales experience in high‑technology services, software or hardware, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven track record of financial performance and 2+ years of quota‑bearing sales experience at Gartner or similar.
• Strong business acumen, forecasting, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate sales associates.
