Sales Manager – Hotel

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the development and management of key accounts across corporate travel, leisure inbound, wholesale, entertainment and group segments for Caption by Hyatt Central Sydney. You will work closely with Marketing, Revenue, Operations and Food & Beverage to create commercial opportunities and deliver strong results.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business through outbound sales activities, networking and proactive outreach.
• Manage and grow existing key accounts, ensuring regular engagement and retention.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing on strategy, promotions and account development.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, client events and sales missions.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in hotel sales, business development or account management.
• Proven success in corporate travel, entertainment, groups or convention markets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Collaborative, client‑first mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Hyatt’s CRM system (Envision, PACER) or similar hospitality sales platforms.
• Proficiency in using sales reporting tools and maintaining accurate records.
