Sales Development Representative – APAC

About the role

We are seeking a high‑energy Sales Development Representative to own the APAC market for Emburse. As the sole SDR in the region, you will act as the strategic engine for a local sales team of four Account Executives, driving outbound prospecting and feeding qualified opportunities into the pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Drive outbound prospecting, qualification and generation of Sales Accepted Opportunities across APAC.
• Develop new sales‑qualified leads through targeted phone and email outreach to our Ideal Customer Profile.
• Meet daily activity metrics such as call volume, talk time and personalized email outreach.
• Utilise tools like ZoomInfo, Salesforce and SalesLoft to build effective outreach campaigns.
• Build and nurture relationships with mid‑size to enterprise prospects, scheduling analysis calls and demos for Account Executives.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers, Account Executives and global Demand Generation/Marketing teams to optimise the pipeline.
• Maintain clean, up‑to‑date data in Salesforce and contribute to quarterly ICP list updates.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in a B2B sales or corporate communication environment.
• Strong phone presence and written communication skills for high‑volume outreach.
• Ability to work autonomously as the sole SDR while staying integrated with the Sydney sales pod.
• Excellent organisational skills and adaptability in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline metrics.
