Sales Agent - Health Insurance

About the role

Compare Club is hiring experienced salespeople for its health insurance business, working from the St Kilda Road office starting 26 October. The role suits people from any industry who want to sell quickly, close daily and earn big. It is phone-based, fast-turnaround selling.

Key responsibilities

• Use product knowledge and strong communication skills to explain health insurance options and guide customers to the most suitable policy.
• Break down complex health insurance information into simple, easy-to-understand terms during calls.
• Ask targeted discovery questions to understand customer needs, priorities and budget.
• Tailor recommendations to each customer's unique circumstances.
• Build trust and rapport through clear, confident and empathetic communication.

Required profile

• Experienced salesperson with a minimum of 1 year of experience; quick-turnaround, phone-based selling.
• Background such as call centre, telesales, inside sales, fundraising, media and advertising sales, online education sales, or telco, utilities, finance, automotive or other high-volume sales.
• A strong sales track record, pace, resilience and coach-ability are essential; health insurance experience is a bonus.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency; all employees undergo a criminal history check.
