Sales Account Manager - Healthcare

About the role

Medline, a provider of medical-surgical products and supply chain solutions, is seeking a Sales Account Manager for its VIC team. You will build relationships with healthcare providers, deliver tailored solutions and help improve patient outcomes across Australia, working across the medical consumables and procedure pack portfolios. The territory covers Melbourne's CBD, including large public and private hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue through strategic account management and business development
• Work closely with customers to understand their procedural requirements, optimise procedure pack configurations and keep the offering aligned to their needs
• Manage accounts, including forecasting and inventory management with the supply chain team
• Identify new sales opportunities, generate new business and maintain existing accounts, including up-sell and cross-sell where appropriate
• Help develop large contract and tender offerings
• Build a strong business and personal brand in the territory

Required profile

• Demonstrated sales experience in healthcare, in a direct-to-customer or distribution role
• Previous sales experience in healthcare or medical consumables
• Experience with procedure packs is highly regarded but not essential
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle, as travel is required
