Timepiece & Fine Jewellery Specialist

About the role

Chanel is hiring a Timepiece and Fine Jewelry Specialist for its Fashion Boutique in Chadstone, Melbourne. The specialist acts as an ambassador for the brand's watches and fine jewelry, driving performance in the boutique by inspiring and engaging Fashion Advisors to sell watches and fine jewelry as part of the CHANEL silhouette.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for watch and fine jewelry presentations at in-boutique and external fashion events.
• Lead category sales across timepieces and fine jewelry and work with other fashion categories to style and outfit the pieces.
• Coach Fashion Advisors on the category and share knowledge about watchmaking and fine jewelry.
• Lead boutique operations for the category, including stock optimization, after-sales, category reporting and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a professional image and etiquette in line with Chanel standards.

Required profile

• Passion for luxury watches and fine jewelry, fashion and an excellent client service record.
• Demonstrated experience in a high-end or luxury retailer, across fine jewelry and high jewelry.
• Ability to build lasting client relationships and personalize the client journey through storytelling and product knowledge.
• GIA certification is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Product knowledge and timepiece expertise, including understanding potential complications within an after-sales capacity.
• Basic CEM activity and administration skills.
