About the role
The Safety Administrator will support the safety team on the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission project, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) legislation and maintaining accurate safety records.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative assistance to the Project Head Office safety team, handling documentation and coordination.
- Assist in developing and maintaining WHS policies and procedures aligned with relevant legislation.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training activities, and related documentation.
- Support incident investigations, preparing reports and documentation for internal audits.
- Collect, analyse and report safety data to monitor WHS performance and inform management.
- Develop, communicate and deliver WHS training, toolbox talks and safety campaigns to employees and subcontractors to ensure compliance.
- Assist with the approval process for safety‑related procedures and documentation.
