RPAS Pilot – Drone Operations & Field Robotics

About the role

Infravision is seeking a skilled RPAS Pilot to operate and maintain its proprietary construction equipment, drones and field robotics across Australian and international sites. The role combines hands‑on field work with office‑based planning to support construction projects in remote and challenging environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain drones of various weight classes (including >25 kg) and associated payloads on active construction sites.
• Conduct rigging, dogging and lifting activities using a High Risk Work License, ensuring compliance with CASA regulations and WHSE standards.
• Perform construction support tasks such as manual handling, machine operation, site logistics and equipment preparation.
• Participate in daily site meetings, hazard identification and mitigation, and report progress to supervisors.
• Develop project plans, review operational documentation and complete administrative duties using Infravision’s software suite.
• Travel to remote, interstate and occasional international locations, working DIDO/FIFO rosters as required.

Required profile

• Current High Risk Work License for Dogging and Basic Rigging.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and passport with no restrictions.
• Ability to obtain an Australian police background check and comply with drug‑and‑alcohol policies.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
