About the role

We are seeking a Revenue Consultant to join the Operations Group 2 team within Revenue WA, part of the Department of Treasury and Finance. The role contributes to the collection of state revenue, administration of grants and subsidies, and the delivery of high‑quality financial services for Western Australians.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse complex transactions and issue assessments under the Duties Act 2008.
  • Provide advice and support to team members handling their own complex matters.
  • Assist the branch in meeting operational objectives and customer‑service targets.

Required profile

  • Motivated individual with a strong interest in public‑sector finance and taxation.
  • Ability to interpret and apply duties, land tax and payroll tax legislation.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to support colleagues and stakeholders.
