Retail Sales Assistant – Casual (Aspley)

About the role
This casual retail position (10‑16 hrs/week) supports customers in store and over the phone, helping them with therapy equipment and ensuring a high standard of service.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers with enquiries, both in‑store and via phone, and help resolve therapy issues.
- Fit customers for masks, recommend appropriate products after training, and provide advice on safe equipment use.
- Process sales, handle payments, balance float, and manage banking.
- Maintain retail displays, keep the premises tidy, and manage stock levels and re‑ordering.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a busy retail or customer‑service environment.
- Strong communication, empathy and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Reliable, honest, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
