Restoration Area Manager

About the role

The Restoration Area Manager is a full‑time position based in Sydney, NSW, responsible for leading the local restoration team and delivering high‑quality restoration projects from assessment through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Sydney Restoration Team and oversee projects to ensure safety, timeliness, and quality standards.
• Coordinate field staff, subcontractors, resources and equipment across multiple job sites.
• Liaise with clients, insurers and partners to align expectations and minimise disruption.
• Conduct site visits, review job scopes, monitor progress and resolve operational issues.
• Support compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and enforce safety standards on‑site.
• Prepare basic reports, job notes, progress updates and incident records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of restoration processes and customer service.

Required profile

• IICRC certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience in restoration, construction, facilities management or related trade, especially water damage, mould or fire remediation.
• Strong team leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills for handling multiple projects.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices and willingness to enforce them.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between job sites in Sydney.
