Reservations Agent – Full Time

About the role

As a Reservations Agent at The William Inglis Hotel – MGallery, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm and personalised booking experience while identifying opportunities to enhance stays and maximise revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming reservation enquiries via phone and email, delivering professional and personalised service.
• Build genuine connections with guests, provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
• Create and maintain reservations and guest profiles in Opera Cloud, including preferences and special requests.
• Monitor the hotel’s general inbox, route enquiries to relevant departments and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Ensure rates, availability and booking information are accurate and align with hotel guidelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office or a similar guest‑facing role, preferably in a luxury or premium hotel.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Full working rights in Australia and flexibility to work a rotating roster, including Saturdays and public holidays.

Required skills

• Experience with Opera Cloud or a similar property management system.
• Strong computer skills for handling reservations and guest data.
