Release Engineer – End‑to‑End Release Management

About the role

The Release Engineer will own end‑to‑end release management across SIT, UAT, PPT and Production environments. You will coordinate code freezes, deployment gating and ensure smooth delivery of releases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage release scope, code freeze, and deployment gating across all environments.
• Coordinate branching, version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
• Handle change governance, CHG/CAB coordination and release approvals.
• Maintain release artefacts, status reporting and provide Go/No‑Go support with hyper‑care coordination.
• Collaborate with delivery, testing, DevOps, platform, operations and security teams.

Required profile

• Experience with Salesforce release environments and tooling, including sandbox‑based processes.
• Hands‑on exposure to Salesforce Core & Commerce, SFDX, GitLab, Terraform, JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of deployment automation, CI/CD pipeline orchestration and rollback support.
