Relationship Manager – SME Banking (Bundaberg)

About the role

Join ANZ’s Business & Private Bank in Bundaberg as a Relationship Manager for Small‑to‑Medium Enterprise (SME) banking. Working alongside a dedicated Assistant Manager, you will manage a portfolio of local businesses, understand their financial needs, and help them grow.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored banking solutions by analysing customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external networks to support deal design and execution.
• Structure and negotiate deals in collaboration with product and specialist teams.
• Proactively manage credit and operational risks, applying relationship credit approval discretion where appropriate.
• Drive portfolio growth through acquisition, increased share‑of‑wallet and referrals.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build long‑term customer relationships and maintain high satisfaction.
• Strong understanding of commercial mid‑market banking products.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
