Relationship Executive (Regional & Agri) - Mackay or Rockhampton

About the role

BOQ Group is looking for a Relationship Executive based in Mackay or Rockhampton to manage an established portfolio of larger regional and agribusiness customers across Central Queensland. The role offers a smaller, focused portfolio with the support of a dedicated analyst, giving more time with customers and tailored banking solutions. It also involves growing the book through new lending opportunities, referral networks and new-to-bank relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen and retain existing relationships with regional and agribusiness customers
• Develop tailored banking solutions and deliver a responsive relationship experience
• Identify new lending opportunities and build referral networks
• Manage the portfolio with attention to credit quality, compliance, customer reviews and sustainable financial outcomes

Required profile

• Experience managing banking relationships in agribusiness, commercial banking or a similar environment
• Proven ability to build, retain and grow a quality customer portfolio
• Strong relationship management, credit and financial analysis skills, and a disciplined approach to portfolio and risk management
• Genuine interest in the businesses and communities served
