Rehabilitation Counsellor

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Rehabilitation Counsellor to join the Recovre team. The role is based in Brisbane, Cairns or Rockhampton and operates in a hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with clients and collaborate with all stakeholders to support safe and sustainable return to work.
• Identify barriers to return to work after illness or injury and develop plans to achieve recovery and independence.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including vocational, pre‑employment, activities of daily living, workplace and ergonomic evaluations.
• Manage case files, reporting and coordinate with a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Travel to client sites while maintaining flexible work‑from‑home and office arrangements.

Required profile

• Full ASORC membership or AHPRA registration.
• Experience in rehabilitation counselling is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong collaborative abilities within multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in conducting diverse rehabilitation assessments.
• Flexibility to work across client sites, from home and office locations.
