Rehabilitation Counsellor

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Rehabilitation Counsellor to join the Recovre team. The role is based in Brisbane, Cairns or Rockhampton and operates in a hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with clients and collaborate with all stakeholders to support safe and sustainable return to work.
• Identify barriers to return to work following illness or injury and develop plans to achieve recovery and independence.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including vocational, pre‑employment, activities of daily living, workplace and ergonomic assessments.
• Manage case management, reporting and travel to client sites while balancing flexible work‑from‑home arrangements.

Required profile

• Full ASORC membership or AHPRA registration.
• Preference for experience in rehabilitation counselling.

Required skills

• Strong collaborative skills within multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Experience conducting diverse assessments related to rehabilitation and return to work.
