Rehabilitation Counsellor

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Rehabilitation Counsellor to join its Recovre team. The position is based in Brisbane, Cairns or Rockhampton and operates on a hybrid model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with clients and collaborate with all stakeholders to support safe and sustainable return to work.
• Identify hurdles to return to work following illness or injury and develop problem‑solving plans.
• Work within a multi‑disciplinary team, sharing expertise to achieve exceptional health outcomes.
• Conduct thorough vocational, pre‑employment, activities of daily living, workplace and ergonomic assessments.
• Manage case management, reporting and travel to client sites with flexible work‑from‑home arrangements.

Required profile

• Full ASORC membership or AHPRA registration.
• Preference for prior Rehabilitation Counselling experience.

Required skills

• Strong collaborative skills within multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Experience conducting diverse assessments related to rehabilitation and return to work.
• Flexibility to work across client sites, from home and office locations.
