About the role
Join the inpatient mental health nursing team at South East Regional Hospital, Bega, providing compassionate, evidence‑based care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred nursing care in collaboration with patients, families and the multidisciplinary health team.
- Provide supervision, support and delegation to less‑experienced clinicians to ensure quality care.
Required profile
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated competence in multidisciplinary team nursing care and clinical communication.
- Evidence‑based practice, critical thinking and a commitment to quality improvement.
- Leadership ability to supervise, delegate and embrace change.
- Recent relevant clinical experience and ongoing professional development.
- Strong organisational skills to prioritise workload with integrity and accountability.
