Registered Nurse – General Practice

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Yamanto Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice setting.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, document health histories and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Administer medications, immunisations and other injections.
• Perform triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide reassurance and support to patients.
• Assist with care plans, shared health summaries and telehealth consultations.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Manage treatment‑room logistics: stock control, sterilisation, equipment maintenance and infection‑control practices.
• Assist with reception and practice‑management duties as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and Working with Children clearance.
• Valid police check, First Aid/CPR certificate and immunisation record.
• Experience working in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and manage time effectively.
