Registered Nurse – Full‑time Casual (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Mittagong Doctors team on a full‑time casual basis. This role provides essential nursing support while covering a team member’s maternity leave, ensuring continuity of high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, document health histories, and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Administer medications, immunisations, and other injections.
• Perform triage, wound management, chronic disease management, and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide reassurance, and support patients with care plans.
• Assist doctors with clinical procedures and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Coordinate treatment‑room activities, including stock control, sterilisation, and equipment maintenance.
• Support telehealth consultations and practice‑management duties.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and Working with Children clearance.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient‑centred attitude.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice environment.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems quickly, and manage time effectively.
• Current police check, First Aid/CPR certificate, immunisation record, and valid photo ID.
