Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Radiology

About the role

The Registered Nurse – Diagnostic Radiology will work morning and afternoon shifts at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, finishing no later than 6:30 pm, with participation in an on‑call roster and occasional use of a lead gown.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient‑centred, evidence‑informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Work within shift patterns that include morning and afternoon shifts, adhering to on‑call requirements.
• Wear a lead gown when required for radiology procedures.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Understanding of evidence‑informed practice and critical thinking.
• Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in a hospital setting is highly beneficial.
• Full working rights in Australia.
