Registered Nurse – Operating Theatres (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular & Renal Transplant)

About the role

Join the dedicated team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Joint Liaison Operating Theatres, providing specialised care for cardiac, thoracic, vascular and renal transplant surgeries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation and circulating nurse duties for cardiothoracic, vascular and renal transplant procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient‑centred nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid work rights.
• Ability to work a 7‑day rotating roster with on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Recent operating theatre experience, including instrumentation and circulating roles.
• Understanding of evidence‑informed practice and critical thinking.
