Registered Nurse – Bendigo Doctors

About the role

Doctors and Co. is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Bendigo Doctors team. You will work closely with physicians and support staff to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centred care in a busy general practice environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take vital signs, record health histories and discuss symptoms with patients.
• Administer medications, immunisations and other injections.
• Perform triage, wound management, chronic disease management and ECGs.
• Explain procedures, provide support and reassurance, and assist with care plans and health summaries.
• Support telehealth consultations and assist doctors with clinical procedures.
• Maintain clinical documentation, stock control, instrument sterilisation and infection‑control practices.
• Assist with reception and practice‑management duties as needed.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and Working with Children clearance.
• Current Police Check and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Experience in an accredited General Practice setting.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Professional, compassionate and urgent approach to patient care.

Required skills

• ECG operation and interpretation.
• Proficiency with Best Practice clinical software.
