Regional Training Administrator

About the role

St John WA, a not-for-profit organisation supporting wellbeing and health in Western Australia, is looking for a Regional Training Administrator to join its Training and Equipment team in Belmont. This is a permanent full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, working closely with the Regional Training and Equipment Team to provide high-level administrative support across training administration and operational logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the development of policies and procedures
• Provide administrative support to regional sub-centres and volunteer teams
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for RTO compliance
• Manage scheduling of meetings and appointments, including agenda preparation and minute-taking
• Support the Regional Operations Manager with daily operational needs
• Coordinate public and private training sessions and monitor enrolments
• Assist with professional development tasks for operational staff
• Manage travel, accommodation and vehicle bookings
• Process timesheets accurately for operational staff
• Contribute to delivering function projects on time and to a high standard
• Support onboarding processes for new operational staff

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar administrative role
• Certificate III in Business Administration (desirable)
• Experience in an RTO or corporate setting (desirable)
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of training-related operational processes and systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
