Regional Sales Manager - Companion Animal (NSW & QLD)

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager, North Region (NSW and QLD), leads a regional sales team within the Animal Health Sales organisation and reports to the National Sales & Key Accounts Lead AU, Companion Animals. The role drives growth in the Companion Animal Business Unit through key veterinary accounts, with a base in Sydney, Macquarie Park.

Key responsibilities

• Sales team leadership: set priorities, run performance reviews, plan territories and coach and mentor team members
• Manage nominated veterinary wholesale accounts and buying groups, including business reviews and account plans
• Deliver sales budgets, market share targets and team metrics while ensuring compliance with rebate, discount and pricing policies
• Track market trends and competitor activity and recommend actions to grow market share
• Support the adoption of the MAXX system and promote safe driving practices for tool-of-trade vehicles

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in sales management and/or marketing in related markets or industries
• Tertiary qualification in Life Sciences and/or Business preferred
• Experience managing budgets, strong commercial and financial acumen
• Confident working remotely, with good organisation, initiative and judgment
