Reefsleep Host – Cruise Whitsundays

About the role

Cruise Whitsundays, based in Airlie Beach, is the largest marine-based tour and transport provider in the Whitsundays, operating 10 air-conditioned vessels, a sailing catamaran and the Reefworld pontoon where the Reefsleep glamping experience is located. Journey Beyond is looking for a hospitality and housekeeping professional to join as a Reefsleep Host on a permanent full-time basis, working on site and enhancing guest interactions at Reefworld.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service across all overnight experiences
• Support the delivery of the Reefworld guest journey and daily itinerary
• Assist with food and beverage service at all guest touchpoints
• Maintain accommodation presentation and housekeeping standards
• Follow schedules, procedures and WHS requirements
• Create a welcoming, engaging and memorable atmosphere for guests
• Collect guest feedback and contribute to Net Promoter Score (NPS) outcomes

Required profile

• Experience in guest accommodation or rooms division management
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills and relationship management
• Reliable, self-motivated and proactive, with a positive team attitude
• Preferred: Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism or Leadership
