About the role

Join QNT Partners as a Recruitment Consultant, working on high‑frequency trading and quantitative fund mandates. You will start on the candidate side, supporting senior consultants, and progress to a full 360 role managing your own client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Headhunt quantitative traders and portfolio managers for tier‑1 HFT firms and hedge funds.
• Build long‑term relationships with passive, hard‑to‑reach candidates.
• Map niche talent pools to anticipate client needs.
• Screen, qualify and manage candidates through interview processes.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to minimise admin work.
• Develop business by opening new accounts, winning mandates and closing deals.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of agency recruitment experience, preferably in technology or financial services.
• Proven headhunting ability with a focus on passive candidates.
• Confident phone communication with clients and candidates.
• Ambition to build your own desk and client base.

What we offer

• Base salary $75,000–$110,000 AUD plus super, with uncapped commission (up to $200k+ OTE).
