About the role

Drake International is building a specialist permanent placement business across contingent and retained recruitment and is hiring a Recruitment Consultant in Canberra. The role suits sales professionals who know what great service looks like: you will build relationships, source top talent and make placements, acting as the go-to expert for both candidates and employers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business and generate job orders
• Source and manage top-tier candidates
• Present your most placeable candidates to employers
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from first contact to placement
• Build your own network and candidate portfolio
• Collaborate with peers and contribute to a culture of excellence

Required profile

• 1+ year of B2B sales experience, or 3+ years of B2C sales
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A results-driven, competitive mindset and a high sense of urgency
• Resilience and a hunger to learn
• A passion for helping people succeed
