About the role

HorizonOne is growing its Tech desk and is looking for a technology recruiter at consultant or senior consultant level who treats a desk like a business. The role is full-time, 360-degree recruitment centred on business development: winning and growing clients, then delivering quality candidates. It suits someone who wants to build their own desk, with a steady flow of BuyICT roles as a foundation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, win and grow technology clients through proactive business development
• Use data on hiring trends, client activity, pipeline and conversion to focus efforts and drive more business
• Deepen existing accounts as a trusted advisor on workforce planning and market insight
• Work BuyICT roles as a foundation, then win direct business, permanent work and new clients
• Deliver permanent, contract and labour hire placements through detailed briefs and strong networks of tech talent
• Manage a contractor book and grow it

Required profile

• Solid track record in technology recruitment, ideally in Canberra
• Proven record of winning new business and growing accounts
• Understanding of Commonwealth procurement and the BuyICT platform
• Comfortable using data to make decisions and drive results
