Quality Specialist

About the role

As a Quality Specialist at Suntory Oceania, you will champion the quality culture within a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art beverage manufacturing and distribution facility. You will ensure that raw materials, blending processes, and finished products meet strict specifications, supporting the site’s Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Support problem‑solving sessions where quality can add value.
• Audit quality control systems and benchmark performance.
• Manage non‑conformance processes, including product release.
• Review raw material certificates of analysis and conduct delivery inspections.
• Conduct GMP and GLP audits across the site.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve quality and food safety, including microbiological performance activities.
• Train manufacturing staff in routine analytical and microbiological methods.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well‑developed change‑management capabilities.
• Experience with food safety standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO/GLP standards and hygiene principles in manufacturing.
• Understanding of GMP requirements.
• Microbiological testing expertise.
• Proficiency in analytical methods.
