Maintenance Fitter – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

Join Viatris' Maintenance and Reliability team at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Carole Park. You will perform maintenance on plant and equipment to maximise operational efficiency and support continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns across all site areas.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow SOPs, GMP, and health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement teams and provide engineering solutions for identified hazards.

Required profile

• Ability to quickly and efficiently resolve mechanical issues.
• Strong attention to detail to keep machinery at high standards.
• Proactive approach to equipment upkeep and safety compliance.
• Effective collaboration with engineers, production staff and other maintenance personnel.

Required skills

• Mechanical fault diagnosis and repair.
• Preventative maintenance techniques.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
